Who we are

In 2013, Shiksha Alok was founded by Shalini Srivastava and Lt Col Kulvinder Brar (Retd.) with an aim of bringing women empowerment through literacy.

The team wanted to bring in enlightenment in the lives of women through education. Shiksha means Education in Hindi and Alok means enlightenment, hence the name.
